Summary
At SAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass. We are looking for a Development Manager to strengthen our team and deliver Procurement solutions.
Role
Build a high performing, strong, agile team
Coach and mentor the team, develop amazing talent
Motivate team members to be able to achieve their goals, and drive performance
Attract and nurture talents in the team
Engage in regular SAP Talks, identify opportunities, and provide regular feedback for performance
Align on strategic objectives within the organization and ensure its understanding and implementation
Be responsible for the team commitments and ensure smooth delivery as per plan. Engage in regular SAP Talks and promote talent.
Inculcate and drive innovation culture among the teams
Promote actively team collaboration and solve the impediments of the team quickly
Lead by example: Team should look up to you as a trusted leader whom they can approach for support, guidance, and mentoring. Build trust and authority with the team.
Role Requirement
10+ years of experience, in which at least 2+ years of people management experience
Excellent people management skills
Experience in software development in Cloud native applications preferably in the Procurement domain
Extensive exposure to SAP domains covering Procurement, Materials Management (MM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Logistics Execution (LE), Procurement process knowledge
Adept in handling agile development methodologies and lean principle/ techniques
Understanding of software development and maintenance processes
Constructive and open style of communication, Excellent verbal and written communication
Understanding of SAP cloud development & delivery process
Independent working style in a distributed environment
