Description:
Having 7 years experience of relevant experience in either one of mentioned below . Having Oracle experience is added advantage.
Good Team player and strong knowledge on process oriented activities and Work experience linux is mandatory .
Postgres :
Experience in database administration or database architecture
implementing Postgresql database clusters with replication
Upgrade db instances from lower versions to current versions.
Setup authentication of database roles
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
Assist with database design and development and tuning queries
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
Design maintenance procedures and putting them into operation
Manage database security/integrity and backup procedures
Implement security measures
Write disaster recovery plans
Experience with Linux environment
Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
Performance tuning
PostgreSQL Streaming Replication and Logical Replication
Cassandra :
Basic/Intermediate knowledge on Cassandra Data Modeling.
In-depth knowledge on Cluster Maintenance Cluster Setup.
In-Depth knowledge Consistency levels Node down issues.
In-Depth knowledge on troubleshooting ( Read Write Latency Issues).
Intermediate knowledge on Scripting (Shell/Python).
Basic/Intermediate knowledge on Opscenter Storage Cluster.
Strong knowledge on tombstone repair Compaction issues.
Basic knowledge on Spark.
Strong knowledge on Fix-Pack/Upgrade of DSE.
