At Inneos, we develop and manufacture VCSEL-based components and subsystems for medical, military, aerospace, and commercial OEMs, as well as finished products for consumers. Our products are often used as high-definition video interconnects in operating rooms, security systems, flight control, conference rooms, and our fastest-growing segment, home theaters. But our products are also used in datacom, sensing, and automation applications. We are a small but growing company with operations in Pleasanton, CA, and our own semiconductor design and fabrication facility in Zephyr Cove, NV, located just off the shoreline of Lake Tahoe.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Test Technician to focus on optoelectronic device testing at the wafer and die level. You will provide conformance reporting to the component design and fabrication team. You will be working in a team environment, can multi-task, and must exhibit a strong work ethic.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for operating high throughput testing hardware and software capable of evaluating the performance of optical components (semiconductor lasers/VCSELs and photodiodes) on wafers and assemblies.
• Responsible for manual testing of devices and device wafers as part of development and production.
• Continuously evaluate operating methods for opportunities to improve testing capabilities and processes through interaction with design and fabrication teams.
• Execute & analyze software on test data and provide regular progress reports.
• Responsible for performing repair and maintenance of test equipment, under the guidance of a Test Engineer.
• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, and engineering to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Assist in executing testing procedures for reliability programs.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to run electrical test equipment
• Demonstrated good hand dexterity for wafer handling, and hand work under a microscope.
• Distinguish all colors such as red vs. green and see flashing alarms
• Respond immediately to machine alarms
• Basic personal computer and keyboarding skills for the accurate input of data
• Basic computer experience including MS Excel
• The ability to read and follow written procedures
• Follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to all safety requirements
• Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ramps
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 pounds
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the US without sponsorship
• Must be available to begin working full time within 2 weeks of acceptance

Pay Range: $16.75 - $22.00 per hour
