Qualifications and skills are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Demonstrated skill as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer in deployment automation and cloud infrastructure.
Strong practical knowledge of using EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and Lambda public cloud services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
Having access to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, or ARM templates.
Both practical knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab and Jenkins.
Scripting language knowledge, such as PowerShell, bash, or others.
The ability to use configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Having familiarity with technologies for containerization (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes) and frameworks for orchestrating containers.
Principal Responsibilities:
Using reputable cloud platforms (e. g. to ensure scalability, availability, security, Azure, Google Cloud).
Make use of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates to build and use deployment pipelines.
Work closely with development teams to incorporate CI/CD processes into software development workflows in order to guarantee quick and reliable software releases.
Utilize software such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or a comparable tool to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
In a cloud environment, keep an eye on and improve system performance, dependability, and cost effectiveness.
Implement and maintain suitable security measures, such as encryption, network security controls, and identity and access management.
Keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies, DevOps techniques, and market developments, and suggest updates and innovations to improve our systems and procedures.
To facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation, document processes, configurations, and architectural designs.
Knowledge of logging and monitoring software (e. g. Prometheus, ELK Stack, CloudWatch). Excellent ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, including the capacity to function well in cross-functional teams.
