About the role:
As a DevOps Engineer of the remote team, you will play a critical role in our organization's success by designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our operations. This role requires a unique blend of skills in Linux, and Python, along with DevOps, cloud computing principles and C++.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our systems are optimized for performance, security, and reliability, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the organization's goals. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the organization, including server architecture, networking, storage, and security.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure uptime and performance, and implement solutions to address any issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that infrastructure and systems are integrated and optimized to support the organization's goals.
Implement DevOps best practices, including continuous integration and delivery, configuration management, and automated testing.
Maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and systems, including procedures, policies, and system configurations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to infrastructure and systems.
Develop, test, and maintain C++ applications and scripts for automation and monitoring of infrastructure and systems.
Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and scripts for automation and monitoring of infrastructure and systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
BE / B-Tech or higher degree in Computer Science / Engineering
5+ years of overall infrastructure software development and support process experience
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices, including continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
Working knowledge of Jenkins, Jira, confluence, bitbucket, Docker
Extensive background in Linux system administration (5 Years), including command-line tools, shell scripting, and system configuration.
Proficiency in Python programming, with knowledge of scripting, data analysis, and web development frameworks.
Proficiency in C++ programming, with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to have:
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS / Azure.
Knowledge of ROS to build and reuse code between robotics applications.
Familiarity with docker orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Experience with configuration management and infrastructure provisioning tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
