Position: Senior Analyst / Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with strong and balanced experience in a wide
array of providing solutions for DevOps Process and Automation and Build Automation on
premise platform using Build Orchestration Tools Framework.
Job Responsibilities:
. Design, develop, test, and implement customizations to improve build automation
capabilities and framework by studying requirements, content needs, data usage and
processes
. Enhance the automation tool to improve the deployment process
. Maintain and manage a multi-domain DevOps Architecture
. Produce required Work Flow artefacts, including specification documents, layouts,
Diagrams and manuals.
. Experience undertaking DevOps BAU Admin activities
. Ability to work intuitively, along or as part of a team environment
. Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise, plan and multitask work assignments
. Take ownership and ability to work within deadlines / timelines
Competencies Needed:
. Should have experience in Jenkins, Nexus Repository Manager, Sonar Qube, Ansible,
Ansible Tower Configuration and Administration
. Experienced in Automated deployment of applications using Maven, ANT and Gradle
. Proficient in YAML, Ansible and Groovy scripting
. Strong practical experience in writing scripts for tasks automation, jobs scheduling and
server orchestration
. Expertise in Windows and Linux Servers configuration for deployment activities
. Proficient in Linux shell scripting, windows batch jobs and power shell scripting
. Experience in creation of branches, merging code, code version controlling with
Bitbucket and SVN tools
. Understanding of Cloud computing platform services
. Experience in handling Docker Containers, kubernetes and open shift tools
. Proficient in debugging build issues and report the errors / issues to the development
team
. Basic networking knowledge / Active Directory integration
. IIS, Tomcat and MSSQL management and configuration
Additional Skills:
. Performance Testing / JMeter
. Test Automation / Python / Selenium
. SVN / JIRA Administration
. SQLPLUS / MS SQL Knowledge
. DevOps certifications will be an added advantage
. Should have good written and verbal communication
. Good problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
Education level:
Any undergraduate degree or above
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in IT or related industry
