To be successful in this role, you should have experience in deploying frontend and backend applications on production and pretty good debugging skills.
Responsibilities:
• Write automation scripts using Python/Shell/Ansible.
• Deployment of low-latency high-availability, and performant applications.
• Prepare and maintain multiple applications utilizing standard deployment tools.
• Documenting the deployment process, architecture, and standard components.
• Set up and work with monitoring tools for alerts & improvement of applications.
• Create & maintain servers as per company standards.
• Perform infrastructure security evaluations and improvements to ensure security standards are met.
• Debugging applications in case of errors/outages.
Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a DevOps engineer.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a developer.
• Conceptually strong in any of the backend languages(Python/PHP/Node/Java).
• Experience working on Linux-based systems.
• Experience in deploying frontend & backend applications on production servers.
• Experience in either Jenkins / CircleCI / Bitbucket Pipelines or any other automation tool.
• Strong knowledge of version control.
• Experience with Redis / RabbitMQ or any other similar application.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Docker/Singularity.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases.
