This role will serve as a leader and expert on DevOps practices. The person in the role will be setting standards, processes and mentoring the team of DevOps Engineers progressively.
Solid experience in managing cloud infrastructure and services. A proven record of managing projects that leverage key services offered by at least one of the AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud is a must.
Should possess good experience setting up infrastructure for Enterprise-Grade applications with demonstrable experience in aspects like Security, Scalability, High Availability, Monitoring, etc.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with DevOps techniques building continuous integration solutions using Jenkins, Docker, Git, Maven, etc.
Experience container management solutions like Kubernetes, AWS ECS, etc.
Must be proficient in one or more scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python
Exposure to applications built with technology stacks like PHP, JS frameworks, .Net, Java, ROR, etc. is preferred.
Experience in PaaS, IaaS, and related areas are highly desirable.
Should be able to effectively translate the requirements from the end clients and internal team and work with their team to deliver adequate solutions and setup within the expected timelines.
Actively troubleshoot any infrastructure issues that arise during testing and production and assist other engineers with corrective actions.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communicator with good listening skills - actively adjust presenting and teaching methodologies based on needs.
Customer-Oriented - relationship savvy who makes connections with both internal partners and external customers.
