Roles and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:
Closely collaborate with the broader (Site Reliability Engineering) SRE team to design and implement the cloud deployment of IBM Maximo set of products on AWS
Support production customers in operational task such as upgrades, maintenance and infrastructure issues, where planned production maintenance is done on planned weekends
Work on a daily basis with Product Owners, Architects, Release Managers and SRE Manager
Proactively seek for improvements opportunities and innovation that matters by learning new technologies and methods that can positively impact the products.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps
Experience of using Jenkins pipelines, Ansible, code scans/automated application tests and quality gates
Experience of working on Docker, Kubernetes
Preferred experience on OpenShift, Linux
Fluent in English
Primary skills:
Extensive experience in managing the applications on AWS
Good Understanding of Security on Cloud based applications
Deep Understanding of Networking concepts on Cloud, like VPCs, NLB/ALB, Content Delivery on AWS
Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large scale application on AWS
Good Understanding about AutoScaling on AWS
Experience in migrating & supporting the applications on Docker & Kubernetes
Strong background in deployment management tools and automation using Ansible.
Monitoring solutions on AWS
Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills to work with customer on problem solving
Secondary skills/Good to have:
Experience with Maximo Development or Implementation
Experiences in Linux Administration
Experience with NoSQL technologies like MongoDb
Experience with SQL dbs like DB2.
AWS -SES (Simple Email Service)
AWS storage - S3/EBS/EFS
AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin
