We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
• Responsible in taking up DevOps engineering activities within Data management Platform
• Expected to build various DevOps pipelines as required.
• Hands-on Experience in
• AWS Platform setup and Management, design of AWS architecture pattern
• Python scripting
• Docker container
• Jenkins pipelines within AWS
• DevOps practices (Git, Git Flow and/or GitHub Flow)
• Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), ECS Fargate
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in system/ infrastructure design, operations.
• Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and techniques
• 2+ years of knowledge of programming languages: (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript)
• Technical knowledge and breadth of technology services (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning, Postgres SQL, ECS Fargate )
• Automation scripting (using scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible etc.)
• Works collaboratively in an agile environment with DevOps application PODs
• Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams,
• Experience working with highly available/high-load web infrastructure e.g. web proxies, reverse proxies
• Risk management effectiveness
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
• Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
• Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools
