Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site installations, configurations, and commissioning of AV systems including video conferencing setups, professional audio systems, displays, projectors, control processors, and automation interfaces.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to understand AV system design, integration requirements, and project timelines.
- Install and wire AV equipment such as speakers, microphones, amplifiers, displays, switchers, control panels, and related infrastructure.
- Perform system testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure optimal AV performance and user experience.
- Provide training to clients and end-users on system usage, control interfaces, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience of minimum 1 year as a Field Support Engineer or Project Engineer in the AV domain, handling end-to-end AV installations and integrations.
- Proficiency in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX), video conferencing solutions, and audio DSPs.
- Familiarity with AV over IP solutions, signal flow, cable termination, and rack building is a strong advantage.
