Inviting applications for the role of Domain Expert - Tax
This position operates in a multifaceted and deadline driven environment and are well suited to those with excellent processing skills and a positive, ‘can do” demeanor. The candidate must also be willing to work flexible and varying shifts through the year and also must react positively and optimally to needs of handling volume spikes (usually at month and quarter ends)
Responsibilities:
Supervise mailbox and prioritize important emails from clients
Ensuring Indirect and Direct Tax Payments and returns /Queries procedures and timelines are being followed
Review applicable accounting reports and Tax reconciliations to ensure accuracy and no outstanding or open issues before month/quarter/year end
Provide effective communication between the business, and the other client departments.
Assist in the development, implementation, and training for the applications.
Understanding and maintenance of accurate internal controls.
Ensuring all SLAs should be green and run required reports on daily basis
Closure on all internal/external audit observations
Investigate queries and provide RCA for any customer concerns
Co-ordinate with multiple partners and provide training to backup resources
Download updates and update procedure document as and when required
Review and approval of receipts and payments
Handle Direct / Indirect Tax related queries and ban calls
Take funds movement decisions, raise movement payments and handle returned payments
Supervise receipts & complete accounting
