We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, GIS Technician
In this role, you will be responsible for the processing of customer source data and field collected data using standard and GIS tools.
Responsibilities
• Process, and validate customer provided data for import into our system.
• Analyze, validate and process data from the field organization in ArcGIS using standard and custom tools
• Generate data reports as needed to support the various projects.
• Utilize tools provided to build import/export configurations.
• Communicate with other members of the team to determine data and deliverable requirements.
• Follow standard procedures, and processes including the use of required checklists.
• Track and report on the processing status for each customer.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards.
• Communicate with customer as needed to resolve data issues.
• Contribute to other projects, plans and teams not specifically noted above, to achieve the goals of the Company.
• Be trained on other teams tasks to provide support and transition within the Delivery Group as needed
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• Fundamental knowledge of ArcGIS and other GIS software.
• Strong understanding of database concepts.
• Highly proficient in MS Access, Excel and Word.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to learn processes, procedures and software independently and quickly
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to supporting all Company policies
Preferred qualifications
• Willingness to work varied hours whenever necessary to achieve the desired results.
• Must maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
