ABOUT MEDANTA:Medanta is established with the sole mission to deliver world-class, holistic and affordable healthcare through multiple multi-specialty hospitals in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR), Lucknow, Patna, Indore and Ranchi. We have a dedicated function for Clinical Research and manage other healthcare service delivery lines which are Retail Pharmacy, Retail Laboratory and “Care at Home”. We further p lan to scale up and expand in few more geographical areas and also identify new avenues (Academics - Medical College) within the Healthcare eco-system.We are looking to hire exceptionally motivated and talented professionals to join our Legal team and be partners in this exciting journey.ABOUT POSITION: Medanta seeks a resource who can join us in Legal team. The incumbent must understand dynamics of this function / space and has worked with large scale organization to conduct below job responsibilities:Conducting extensive due diligence for acquiring companies/properties Drafting collaboration agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, Loan Agreement, Banking documents, related party agreement, Joint Development Agreement, Long Term Lease deed etc. Other documents including non-disclosure agreement, memorandum of understanding etc.Contract Management: negotiating, drafting and reviewing agreements / documents covering financial, commercial, information technology, HR related contracts Intellectual Property Rights: Protection of all intellectual property rights of the company by registrationIdentifying the relevant IP of the company post discussions with stakeholder and filing for registration Legal Research: Conducting legal research on various issues and provide advice and legal opinions pertaining to various commercial, business and contractual issues and mattersSKILLSStrategic mind-set with hands on approach. Good team player and interpersonal skills. Achievement orientation, relationship driven, energetic, creative thinker, high on Integrity & strong value systems are mandatory traits which the incumbent should exhibit.REQUIREMENT: An ideal candidate will be someone who find himself/herself meeting below traits:LLB with experience in Corporate Legal department12-13 years of experience in relevant areas (Acquisition, Mergers, Joint Venture, Collaboration) with 4-6 years (current/previous) of experience in a Law Firm is mandatory
