• Qualifications (Essential)

(Any one of the following qualification)

M.Sc. (Chemistry)/ M Pharm/ B Pharm with approved chemist license.
• Preference

Those who are having an approved chemist in manufacturing Tablet and capsule department from FDCA Gandhinagar. Those who are knowledge of application to FDCA for getting production permission, Certificate of pharmaceutical product, application for renewal of mfg licenece and renewal of WHO-GMP certificate and renewal of whole sale licence.quarterly submission narcotics department document. who is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency. This includes production planning, batch execution, quality control, and team management, all while adhering to WHO, GMP and regulatory standards.
• Key Skills

· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

· Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and process optimization, with a strong understanding of production equipment and technologies.

· Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve production-tablet/capsule related issues, with a strong attention to detail.

· A strong commitment to continuous improvement with as per revised pharmacopeia tablet/capsule dosage form, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

· A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to implement and enforce safety protocols.

· A strong commitment to regulatory compliance, with the ability to navigate and interpret regulatory requirements.
• Experience

At least 10 Years’of proven working experience in pharmaceutical formulation production [Tablet/Capsule section] and FCDA work, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Job Responsibilities:

· Production Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of formulations while adhering to production capacity and resource availability.

· Batch Execution and Monitoring:

Oversee the entire batch manufacturing process, from raw material/packing material selection to final product packaging, ensuring adherence to Tablet/Capsule SOPs, GMP, and regulatory requirements.

· Quality Control and Assurance:

Collaborate with QA/QC to ensure that products meet quality standards, specifications as per master formula card, and regulatory requirements.

· Process Optimization:

Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains to enhance production throughput and reduce costs.

· Team Management:

Lead and supervise a team of production personnel, providing training, coaching, and performance management, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.

· Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all production activities comply with relevant regulations, including GMP, FDA, and other applicable guidelines.

· Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, reports, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Cost Control and Budget Management:

Manage production costs, monitor resource utilization, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining production output and quality.

· Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

Identify and address production-related issues, including equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and quality issues, to ensure minimal downtime and batch integrity.

· Collaboration and Communication:
• Work effectively with other departments, including R&D, QA/QC, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
