DHL Picker Packer Position Details:
• Now Hiring Picker Packer - Great pay, includes shift differential
• Overtime Required based on business needs
Role Purpose:
Responsible for the safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders. You will replenish or pick products with directions from pick sheets or hand-held computers, obtaining merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order.
Picker Packer Key Accountabilities:
• Efficiently pick customer orders or shipments, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Accurately count product inventory by location.
• Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing non-powered material handling equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.
Picker Packer Required Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Order Fulfillment as an Order Picker and Packer, including cross-trained skills across multiple departments: inbound, outbound, auto store, shipping, and receiving.
• Preparing product for safe shipment and verifying accuracy via computer, shipping label, and packing list.
• Daily use of a computer to pull orders, and create shipping labels. General Computer skills are required.
• Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is highly desired. Examples include Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, and SAP.
• Able to stand for extended periods, up to +0% of the shift.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry 50-75 pounds throughout the shift.
