Our services include organizing in-clinic camps, running patient support programs, and operating specialty pharmacy services. Our mission is to make healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of their location. We are currently running a program on behalf of one of our pharma clients to provide diabetes education and support to patients. As part of this program, we are looking for a skilled and compassionate Diabetes Educator to join our team.
Job Overview:
• The Diabetes Educator will be responsible for educating patients with diabetes on how to manage their condition effectively.
• The Diabetes Educator will be responsible for Set of doctors' clinics and hospitals handle OPD to provide patient education, counselling, queries resolution, program enrolment, pen demonstration, and guiding patients to the nearest pen station.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for helping patients with diabetes manage their condition.
• Responsibilities:
• Handle Set of doctors' OPD clinics and hospitals to provide patient education, counselling, and support for diabetes management.
• Conduct pen demonstrations for patients.
• Develop a rapport with patients by responding to their queries and concerns.
• Guide patients to the approved pen stations.
• Follow up with patients to check on therapy initiation and support them in resolving any challenges.
• Enrol patients into the program by capturing patient details in the CRM system.
• Maintain a database of patients to ensure timely follow-up and support.
• Organize camps and patient support initiatives with doctors.
• Report on pharmacovigilance and implementation of compliance guidelines to ensure patient safety.
• Provide feedback to the Reporting Manager.
Requirements:
• Science graduate or qualified dietician with 1 to 2 years of experience in Pharma or allied services or diet counselling or certified diabetics educator.
• Passion for working in the field and helping patients manage their diabetes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to different locations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude with a pleasing personality
Working Conditions:
• The Diabetes Educator will work in a variety of settings, including doctors' clinics and hospitals.
• They must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• They must be willing to travel to different locations to provide patient counselling and support.
• Note: The Diabetes Educator position is being offered as part of a program on behalf of one of our pharma clients, and the selected candidate will be hired by our company.
