Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment diagnostics and repair, with a focus on diesel engines. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining and repairing various types of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Diesel Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment. Welding and DOT experience is a plus. Class A CDLs are a requirement.
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues.
• Conduct repairs on hydraulic systems, brake systems, shocks, struts, and other mechanical components.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
• Operate heavy machinery as needed for repairs.
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of tractor-trailer units.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each job.
