Our Client, WESTERN AUTO ELECTRICAL LIMITED, in Auckland,d is looking for a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic in a supervisory role to join their growing workshop team in Otahuhu, Auckland.
Work time 7.30 AM to 4.30 PM Monday to Friday, and alternate weekends.
Min 30 Hours, Maximum 40 hours per week. We are looking for an independent worker who is go getter and not afraid of hard work.
Hourly rate Min $ 30.00 and Max $ 45.00 p/h (package negotiable for suitable candidate )
3+ years of related experience required.
Must be eligible to work and currently be living in New Zealand.
Duties:
Working on the daily job run sheet supporting the workshop Manager.
Daily servicing of E Road defects and fleet maintenance scheduled, i.e., COF's and Servicing of fleet.
Work as ateam player, overseeing job quality.
Work within defend time constraints.
Be safety conscious and have an excellent work ethic.
Maintain good social skills and be able to work well with different cultures.
Be organized and a great communicator.
Be focused on delivering high quality repaires and servicing.
Be available for call-outs as per the roster, usually one week per month, and work alternate Saturdays if required.
The Person: To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Forklift Licence with F endorsement ( Advantage)
Class 5 ( will be an advantage)
Friendly, Positive attitude
Health and Safety awareness
