Adaptalift looks after customer and company-owned equipment and provides breakdown services, fault finding and preventive and routine maintenance services on this equipment across Brisbane Ports & the Central Metro area.
Position
We are seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic / HD Fitter with experience working on heavy equipment, mobile plant, access equipment or similar to join our team in Brisbane (Acacia Ridge).
What We Offer
A sign-on bonus of $5,000 payable at 6-months of service
Up to $4+/h + super base rate + overtime rates
Working hours Monday – Friday 7am- 3pm with opportunity for overtime EBA rates
Fully Maintained Vehicle provided latest model including $13K worth of tooling

Responsibilities
Fault finding troubleshooting & problem-solving breakdowns
Undertaking scheduled maintenance and servicing
Utilising your technical skills to problem solve
Visiting our customers on their sites providing a high-quality & safe service
Collaborating with your team on large overhauls and commissions
Requirements
Solid experience working as a Diesel Mechanic or HD Fitter within the Heavy Equipment industry Transport Construction Agricultural Machinery or Mining
Solid background in servicing diagnostics and hydraulics
Ability to carry out a physical role with a strong mechanical aptitude
A strong commitment to safe work practices and good communication skills
You hold a current Driver Licence
Mechanical Trade Qualification such as Heavy Diesel Mechanic Plant Mechanic or similar
Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and ******* screening
