H.I Plant Services is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications, hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and physical stamina.

Requirements:
A current and relevant trade/diesel mechanic certificate.
A current HR Driver’s License (highly advantageous).
A Forklift ticket (highly advantageous).
Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
A strong focus on safety and compliance in all tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A strong work ethic with a willingness to be held accountable.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and outcome-focused.
Must be able to pass a D/A test.
Work ute supplied for job-related tasks.
10-hour workdays with plenty of overtime available.
