Job Summary
We are seeking a Diesel Apprentice to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Apprentice, you will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces.
You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better. The role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined but have no professional experience. We will teach you the necessary skills to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers with roadside services
Learn preventative maintenance services
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
You will be required to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in various temperatures. It is essential to prioritize the safety and satisfaction of customers, adhering to company safety policies & procedures. A rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed may also be required.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation, which will be paid by Love's.
