Job Details:
We are seeking a Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic II to join our team. As a part of our apprentice program, you will work on major components of trucks, diagnose and repair various systems, and assist in vehicle maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate proficiency in repairing and diagnosing engines, powertrain, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and more.
• Perform mechanical and appearance reconditioning of equipment.
• Identify parts required for repair and perform preventive maintenance services.
• Document warrantable repairs and maintain work area safety.
• Road test vehicles, use hand tools, and inspect important parts for proper operation.
Requirements:
• 2 years of practical experience in tractor trailer maintenance.
• Enrolled in an apprentice program or possess a 310S license.
• Specialized training in vehicle components repair preferred.
• Proficiency in shop tools and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions.
