Gateway Assisted Living located in Central Surrey is currently looking for a strong Dietary Aide / Kitchen helper to join our team on a casual basis.
Dietary Aide/Kitchen helper: Reporting to the Executive Director and/or cook, the Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the provision of meals, beverages, and snacks for all residents at the site.
Minimum Grade 12 with meal preparation or serving experience and preferably experience working with seniors with health challenges. Current Food Safe level 1 certificate is required.
Minimum grade 10 with housekeeping experience and preferably experience working with seniors with health challenges.
Requirements:
· Legally permitted to work in Canada
· Current WHMIS training certificate
· Ability to effectively communicate in English
· Ministry of Justice Criminal Records Review – vulnerable sector
