About the Role:
The positions entail working as part of the Department of Bariatric Medicine multi-disciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes through the provision of high-quality clinical services, health promotion and quality improvement activities and education. Clinical service delivery includes group and individual education and intervention for people with morbid obesity.
Interventions provided by the Dietitian within the service may include counselling to improve diet quality, placing patients on closely monitored Very Low Energy Diets, supporting pharmacotherapy and guiding patients through nutritional and dietary changes post bariatric surgery.
Please note: There are two positions available for this recruitment round (one is permanent part-time at (18:22) hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata, the other one is temporary full-time for a period of six months with the possibility of extension).
