About the role:
We are looking for a dietitian with a passion for the treatment of eating disorders. Should you be successful in your application, your role will involve providing assessments and treatment for individuals across the lifespan presenting with weight, eating, feeding and body image concerns. This position is suitable for a contractor dietitian who is experienced in working in private practice and is interested in managing and growing their caseload within a nurturing and collaborative environment. The position is ideally suited for a dietitian looking for independence and flexibility to be able to set their own consulting hours.
Eligibility requirements:
Bachelor Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelor Science, Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in one or more of the following: clinical nutrition, nutrition education, health promotion, nutritional support, pediatrics or rehabilitation.
Demonstrated capacity to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of services to the community as well as autonomously.
Understanding of the Health at Every Size (HAES) and Non-Diet Approaches and ability to practice within these models
Strong technical skills with ability to adapt to new platforms and client management systems.
Current membership with Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) with Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status or working toward APD status.
· Current National Police Clearance
Current Australian driver's license and Working with Children's Check
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
