Job Description
We are looking for a Digital Advertising Sales & Website Monetization Specialist to generate advertising revenue from our website’s digital ad inventory.
This role is sales-focused, with the primary focus being developing advertising packages and identifying, securing, and managing advertisers, agencies or third-party re-sellers who want to place ads on our website to reach our audience.
Experience in digital marketing or traffic growth is considered an asset, but the primary objective is selling advertising placements and generating revenue from our website traffic.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure advertisers, third party aggregators, programmatic networks, or ad agencies interested in advertising on our website
Source and secure programmatic ad sales opportunities
Develop and sell advertising packages, pricing structures, and sponsorship opportunities
Prospect and reach out to businesses and potential advertisers
Negotiate advertising placements and pricing
Manage advertising placements on the website (display ads, banners, sponsored placements)
Manage relationships with advertisers and ensure campaign success
Track and report advertising performance metrics
Provide advertisers with campaign performance summaries
Qualifications
3+ years experience in digital marketing or online advertising
Strong communication, business development, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives
Assets
Experience selling digital advertising or sponsorships is a strong asset
Proven ability to generate online traffic and improve conversion rates
Experience managing advertising placements and digital campaigns
Familiarity with AdSense, SEO, Google Analytics, and similar digital marketing tools
Proficiency managing CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar platforms
Experience building digital advertising packages
Graphic design knowledge (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
