Job Description
The successful applicant will be required to undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for Parliamentary Services Level 5. The work may cover a range of tasks associated with the creation and distribution of client-focused communications in the Parliamentary Library. Key responsibilities include:
Creating and distributing engaging online communications via email, through social media and other online channels including the Australian Parliament House website and parliamentary intranets.
Liaising with clients, internal staff and external agencies to develop and deliver user-focused and accessible web-based information products, services and instructional material.
Contributing to and implementing the Library's communications strategy to achieve high levels of client engagement.
Requirements

Experience in creating and distributing engaging communications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
A great attention to detail, be highly organised and creative.
A flexible approach to work, be able to organise priorities and meet deadlines.
Sound judgement and an understanding of the parliamentary and political environment.
