Job Description
Reporting to our Head of Media & Communications, we're looking for a motivated and passionate professional with experience in developing digital content across the club’s social media channels, website and App including editorial content. Key to their succuss will be a willingness to deliver and drive innovative content, show initiative and engaging and connecting with the club’s members and fans.
As such a passion for trends and a contemporary understanding of editorial and social content is key. Experience in developing integrated content plans, executing and analysis of all content as well as sport or football experience is desirable.
The role will focus on:
Planning, executing and analysis of editorial and social media content
Developing and maintaining a detailed digital content plan that defines online goals and expectations for the Club
Actively promoting the Club and drive continued growth
Working with other departments and stakeholders, including the APL and Football Australia, other clubs and host broadcasters, to ensure a seamless digital experience for the club's members and fans (match-days and week to week)
Ideas generation and being across trends in the digital space
Manage casual writer support and update and maintain the milestones and statistics documents
Providing support for the Multimedia Producer where required
To be successful, you'll need:
3+ years’ experience in a similar role
Technical knowledge and experience in digital platforms including website editorial, social media, and analytics.
Understanding of football/sport/entertainment industry
Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in e-communications, digital, website, app and other marketing platforms
Understanding and ability to create marketing campaigns, tailored to specific market segments.
Experience in content development and planning
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in working within set brand and style guidelines.
Basic experience in graphic design/video editing software
