We’re Apparent, a full-service, independent agency made up of 170 thinkers, creators and solution-makers doing what we do best. We punch well above our weight, with some of the biggest clients in the world on our roster, from tech giants like Google, Volkswagen Group Australia, and IBM. We exist to amplify our clients’ impact, shaping customer experiences and decisions through the integration of media, content and technology.
On any given day, you can expect to cross paths with someone in strategy, brand, creative, content production, social media, UX/UI, technology and media planning and buying. Oh and dogs, too. You’ll definitely cross paths with adorable dogs.

The role is to:
We’re looking for a digitally minded writer who can create engaging and educational content in an exciting range of formats.
This is not a traditional ad agency role focused on big campaign concepts. We’re after someone whose work samples show clarity and craft on complex topics, not a portfolio of pencil-winning ideas.
Create engaging short and long-form copy in response to briefs, ensuring a consistency in brand, tone of voice and messaging.
Enjoy opportunities to learn, grow and stretch your abilities with clients spanning the tech sector, B2B and consumer products.
Flexibility to create work across channels including video, social, eBooks, blogs, websites, events and email.
Understand key concepts around AI, business transformation and the cloud, with the ability to research more complex products.
Work closely with a large and talented creative team.
Based in our Sydney office with hybrid Mondays and Fridays.
Desired skills and experience:
2-3 years’ copywriting or journalism experience in a creative agency or content team.
Ability to craft a simple, engaging story from complex information.
Solid understanding of writing techniques to generate a response from the audience.
Examples of error-free work demonstrating different tone of voice and content styles, including for B2B brands.
Ability to present work with an effective, coherent rationale.
Able to work in-person with our Sydney team
