Job Description
The Digital Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and building data warehouses that integrate data from third-party APIs such as Google Ads and Facebook with our first-party data. This enables the development of a comprehensive view of the relationship between our digital marketing activities and our customers. Our team leverages this data to develop machine learning algorithms and report on performance, making reliable and timely access to well-structured data essential to the business.
You will also support the development environment used by our analysts and data scientist, managing workflows of machine learning models and deploying elastic compute resources for model execution.
What are we looking for?
Tertiary qualification in a relevant Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience (typically 3-5 years) in a similar data engineering position
Strong experience in SQL and Python
Strong experience with cloud-based data warehousing and data architecture concepts
Strong experience in managing data pipelines: Databricks, BigQuery Dataform or other data warehouses and platforms
Familiarity with Google Ads API, Facebook API etc
Strong communication and stakeholder management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exposure to digital marketing campaigns and profitability (desirable)
