WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Digital Designer in the Design Studios team, you will be working closely with a team of digital designers and supporting them on digital design projects. You will implement design specifications, define timelines, and help to create and design digital interfaces, GUIs, and digital content for various digital media such as websites, microsites, apps (for iOS and Android), social media content, and other digital interactive content in compliance with BCG standards. You’ll leverage existing microsite templates and apply concepts of good UI/UX to make user-friendly sites and bring the latest website design, technical, and system trends into the design of websites and app layouts.
You will oversee smaller projects together with the Project Manager and Designers, and you’ll proactively conduct ideation and brainstorming sessions to capture the business challenges, set timelines, and solve problems. You will work closely with creatives from all verticals (e.g., Digital and Design) to an agreed brief to inject strategic considerations into each step of a client initiative and make conceptual decisions in compliance with BCG standards.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
• Designing client-specific websites using available content management systems such as WordPress along with other common web technologies.
• Defining information architecture, interactions and hierarchy of content following the user-centered design (UCD) principles.
• Simplifying complex and ambiguous briefs to arrive at actionable goals with minimal direction.
• You ensure a consistent approach to design, employing design systems, bring efficiency in your process, creating icons and graphics.
• You are adept at creating wireframes, storyboards, screen flows and high-fidelity dev ready prototypes.
• You’re able to develop projects from creative concept to final deliverable in traditional and new media (augmented/virtual reality, social media, etc.).
• Designing for client-specific requirements with a combination of experience across designing for mobile and web focused applications, as well as complex and information-rich interfaces.
• Ensuring a sharp eye towards attention to details in designing pixel perfect digital interfaces.
• Pitching creative concepts to internal teams and clients, lateral thinking, brainstorming and ideation.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, doing presentations and approaching with a problem-solving mindset.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in graphics and web content design or related field (Design School Preferred)
• You have two to four years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, design start-up, or design agency.
• Passion for digital design and hunger to learn and be a design evangelist within and outside the team.
• Knowledge of best UI practices and staying updated with upcoming digital trends and new digital technologies.
• Fluent in English - verbal and written.
• A strong portfolio that highlights divert and strength of work.
• You’re proficient in Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Experience with Principle, Webflow, After-Effects and other prototyping and digital design tools is a bonus.
• You have a strong grasp of color theory and an in-depth understanding of typography and UX design principles.
