Brand new role - Shape how learning looks and feels!
Bring training to life with visual design, animation & motion
Work remotely with a fast paced, high trust team
At Yo-Chi, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Digital Learning Designer who thrives at the intersection of graphic design, motion design, and digital learning. If you’re someone who gets excited by visual storytelling, smooth animations, and intuitive user experiences and knows how to bring training content to life in a way that actually sticks, then this one’s for you.
This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in Australia, with a preference for locations where our venues are currently operating.
Ideal for a visual first designer who can create and structure content and understand the flow of a good learning journey but is more focused on how it looks, feels, and moves.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and developing branded graphics, layouts, icons, and templates for use in Rise, Storyline, video based learning
Creating light motion design elements (think animated intros, video explainers, overlays) using tools like After Effects, Vyond, or similar.
Collaborating with our Learning Design Specialist to turn storyboards into polished, learner-friendly modules
Enhancing the user experience (UX) of our digital training to make it clearer, faster, more fun
Conducting basic in-person video filming and editing, voiceover syncing, and creating short form visual assets for learning and comms.
Keeping all assets on brand, scalable, and consistent with Yo-Chi’s style and tone
About You
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a graphic design, motion design, or multimedia production role. Ideally in a learning, education, or digital content team
Understanding of traditional principles in learning/content creation but ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions.
A strong portfolio that shows off your skills in visual storytelling, graphic design, branding, layout, and animation
Proficiency in design and animation tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Vyond, and Canva
Basic to intermediate experience with Rise and/or Storyline (or a willingness to learn quickly)
An understanding of digital learning UX and how visual design influences engagement
A collaborative mindset and the ability to move fast, adapt, and work through feedback
Highly organised and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Bonus: experience in retail or hospitality, or working with playful, youth-focused brands.
Why Yo-Chi?
Be part of one of Australia’s fastest growing brands.
A vibrant, positive brand that makes people smile on the job and in training
Genuine work flexibility- no fixed head office, and plenty of variety!
Chance to flex your creativity on everything from leadership courses to onboarding videos
Fast-moving, collaborative and supportive high trust team that values great design and great energy
The opportunity to shape how learning feels across a growing national and international brand.
