Grade:- Junior Manager -III (highest at JM's grade).
Location- H.O. Mumbai (Santa Cruz). Work from office.
Reporting: - Upwards: - Head – Digital center of Excellence.
Industry preference: - FMCG.
Salary :- As per the Industry standards.
Experience: - Minimum 3 years in a similar role of Digital Executive/ Social media analytics/Social media campaigns.
Qualification:-
• MBA or Graduation from a good college + some tech experience with 2-3 years of experience.
• Experience in social listening (tools like Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Locobuzz, Talkwalker, etc.) and SEO (on page and off page)
• Ability to work on multiple stakeholders and multiple initiatives.
• Understanding digital landscape, agile approach, fast learner & go getter, collaborative to get faster closures. Complete ownership mindset.
Purpose of the Role:
• Internet is growing at massive speed: Active internet user base in India is 622 Mn as of Dec 2021, the female users’ growth in the last 2 years is a whopping 61 per cent as compared to male users who grew at 24 per cent. Also, 1 in every 3 female internet users in rural India, are actively using the internet.
• Over 50% of internet users research online before making a product purchase:Kantar study
• Nine in 10 offline buyers are using an online touchpoint for information in their purchase journey:Google
• There are active 467 Mn Social media consumers
• At Marico, we have developed a centre of excellence (Digital COE) which works across geographies (India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, MENA, New markets – US, UK, Canada, Africa, Nepal, Sri Lanka) across brands to work on developing & enabling digital capabilities under digital commerce (ecommerce acceleration, DTC), digital influence (developing digital playbooks - Mavericks, developing measurement frameworks like Digital quotient – digital efficiency management, ROAS, etc.) and digital enablement (developing in house teams like We Create – in house creative & content team, Trending social – in house social listening cell, Organic.ly – in house SEO team, Marico Miner League – in house analytics team, etc.)
• Digital quotient (DQ) is a measurement capability created by this team from scratch which looks at 100+ KPIs across competition set of brands
• In India DQ is running in its 4th year with 170 brands, In Vietnam DQ is running in its 3rd year with 20 odd brands and in Bangladesh DQ is running in its 2nd year with 60 odd brands
• This capability has been created keeping in mind rise of digital and Marico’s ambition to have 500 cr digital business by 2026
• We are looking to add a Digital executive who works on managing digital organic growth by enabling brands on following agenda:
· DQ India Measurement:
o Owning social & ECom net sentiment, organic & influencers KPIs and ensuring error free data, correct benchmarks closures, 1st level data validation with SPOCs (brand & influencer manager)
o Ensuring overall DQ moves up by influencing above KPIs through various interventions like playbooks, experimentation with brands & sharing new ideas / best practices, arranging workshops with experts
o Working closely with Digital specialist (Manager) to ensure closure of DQ social, organic and influencers
· DQ Vietnam & Digital transformation for Vietnam:
o Ownership and leading of social and organic data for DQ Vietnam and ensuring timeline error free publishing while leading the insights
· Net sentiment international:
o Deep diving and publishing net sentiment for international geographies and ensuring that they move, working with required teams on the same
· Organic rank for Parachute advansed:
o Working with the largest brand of Marico India to drive organic rank agenda on Parachute advansed, working with brand team and brand heads extensively to drive blogs and tech upgradation to improve SEO organic rank
· Trend spotting: Driving trends spotting to create a strong pipeline of NPDs globally and also spotting content trends so that brands can upgrade their content on a daily basis and garner engagement & mentions / high organic SOV
