Are you a creative digital storyteller with a passion for place, people, and purpose? RotoruaNZ is on the lookout for a Digital Marketing Executive to help drive the way we share Rotorua with Aotearoa and the world.
As Rotorua’s Economic Development Agency (EDA) and Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO), we exist to make a real impact – attracting talent, business, investment, and visitors to grow our region’s prosperity and wellbeing. We champion Rotorua’s natural beauty, rich Māori culture, and vibrant lifestyle, all while working collaboratively with iwi, local government, businesses, and community.
About the Role:
We’re seeking a digitally savvy marketing professional to lead our social media content planning, create impactful campaigns, and actively engage with our growing online communities. You’ll bring Rotorua’s stories to life across multiple platforms, using insights and analytics to shape strategy and spark engagement.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll create content and track performance, to grow Rotorua’s digital presence.
What We’re Looking For:
Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or media
At least 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing or social media role
Proven success managing multiple social platforms for a large organisation
Strong photography, video and editing skills
Experience using data to plan and evaluate campaigns
Proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and social media management platforms
A collaborative, energetic, and proactive mindset
