The Footprint Academy
The Footprint Digital Academy is an award-winning one-week, 100% online course which gives you the best possible start to your career in digital. It bridges the gap between the theoretical knowledge of university and the practical skills needed for real-world marketing. At the end of it there are permanent jobs up for grabs!
Our Academy is delivered by some of the best digital marketers in the country who will help you gain that oh-so-valuable practical experience and confidence in just one week.
(By the end, you’ll have the skills to get hands-on with digital marketing projects in the real world. You’ll have the confidence to go for that totally brilliant job in the industry, and you’ll have caught the enthusiasm of our team for everything digital.
Our training scheme places 20 graduating university students onto the course for free (discounted from £5++) with 5 permanent marketing roles up for grabs at Footprint Digital on completion of the course. Relationships are at the core of everything we do at Footprint Digital. As a Relationship Manager, you can expect to work on a profile of clients from different industries alongside our team of SEO, PPC and CRO experts to advise, support and facilitate the client in their journey with Footprint Digital.
The Partnership Development Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with web development and PR agencies in and around London. You’ll enjoy sharing ideas, supporting people and building collaborative relationships.
Technical SEO
Technical SEO’s work closely with the PPC, Content, CRO and Client services teams to provide support and strategic direction on client accounts. This role is an integral part of the team and an important part of the Footprint Digital system. You’ll be the first point of contact with a client that’s looking to improve their digital performance. You’ll take them on the journey to understand how digital can help their business grow, and kickstart the relationship by converting new business leads into revenue.
Paid Media Managers work closely with the SEO, Content, CRO and Client services teams to provide continuous support and strategic direction on client accounts. This role focuses on identifying and implementing innovative strategies for clients PPC campaigns. Content writing, and coordinating the content created by freelance writers, is vital for our SEO and Content teams. You’ll be responsible for managing the quality and consistency of content created for our clients, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to the brief.
Colchester, Essex or London – whilst these roles can be hybrid, the ideal candidate will be able to visit us in the Colchester office once a month for team and training days!

Apprentice Challenges
6 times a year our friendships are put aside and an intense battle to become winner of the Footprint Digital Apprentice Challenge takes place. Anything from business strategy pitches, foraging in the woods to bake off challenges – your competitive streak is welcomed and encouraged.
Our policy is to be open, honest and fair in everything that we do.
Thus far this includes our team giving TED Talks, presenting at the Universities of Essex and Greenwich, speaking at the Department of International Trade, Brighton SEO the list goes on!
Each year we put 1% of our annual sales to Building Malawi, a charitable organisation close to our hearts.
