Brief on the Job Position

The Digital Marketing Manager / Content Writer will have the most vital role in the Marketing, Communication and PR vertical of Ayekart. The objective of this position is to spearhead the company’s brand awareness in the digital arena, ensure the successful running of digital channels and various campaigns that would create new customer leads, promote the brand and products, and contribute to overall company growth.

Scope of Work

The Digital Marketing Manager / Content Writer shall be responsible for developing, implementing, overseeing, and managing digital marketing strategies that advance an organization’s mission by reaching a broad audience and attaining greater exposure. S/he will lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution and optimise the campaigns across apt digital channels.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

A. Devise and Drive the Digital Marketing Campaign

· Developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing programs across all digital channels including web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media and display advertising campaigns, in line with company’s overall marketing plans and business priorities.

· Develop digital marketing strategies by identifying a target market, creating a brand persona and analysing information about how best to reach a target audience.

· Actively market and promote Ayekart’s perspective, information and news related to products, services, initiatives, milestones, achievement through appropriate digital platforms and channels.

· Develop content for marketing and advertising campaign, maintain and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars; Ensuring that marketing and communications efforts adhere to agreed timelines and managing expectations with various stakeholders.

· Partner with advertising and media specialists to increase marketing results; Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners; SEO/SEM Specialists, Content Managers and Strategists, Email Marketing Specialist, Analysts & AI Specialists, etc.

· Develop annual and quarterly digital marketing Plan, create and manage budget for earmarked activities, oversee efforts of marketing team members, and ensure compliance.

· Planning and controlling of the digital marketing budget and spend by allocating budgets to different channels.

· Analyse online statistics, results and effectiveness of campaigns to deliver actionable insights, recommendations to optimize performance and generate monthly reports on the digital marketing portfolio.

· Collate and summarize market data, formulate periodical reports for updating CEO on campaigns from ideation to execution, ground performance and expected vs derived results.

B. Manage Social Media Platform and Internet-based Content

· Design build and maintain company’s regular social media presence.

· Manage company’s online and social media platforms to educate through publishing persuasive content and promote the brand through leveraging these platforms for digital marketing campaigns.

· Increase organisation’s brand awareness, boost visibility and engagement by planning and creating internet-based content.

· Ensure brand consistency in all externally focused digital communication activities, material and content.

· Maintain effective, cohesive, and engaging brand messaging, update and manage company blog, e-newsletter, and social media posts including regular posts, news, job listings, etc.

· Review and optimise the design and content of all online assets including the company website and social media pages.

C. Website Management

· Manage and optimise company website including all images, tools, and content and ensure regular up-dation on relevant pages.

· Assess and optimise visitor’s journey across website through appealing visuals, meaningful content and meticulous representation of the company.

· Develop a website traffic plan and create goals to meet.

D. Any other work assigned by the competent authority. Given the 24/7 nature of online shopping, the incumbent would be expected to work long and irregular hours.

Qualifications and Experience

· Post Graduate in Business Management/Marketing/ Mass Communication/Journalism/Public Relations/Digital Marketing or any other relevant field. Certification of Advanced Digital Media Marketing will be preferred.

· At least 7 Years of experience in marketing/ advertising/Communication with minimum 3+ years of working as Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist or a similar role in the Marketing Department.

· Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, leading and managing successful digital marketing campaigns like SEO/SEM campaigns, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.

· Demonstrated experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.

· Working knowledge of digital marketing and website analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Open Web Analytics, Clicky, WebTrends, Crazy Egg, Mint, Matomo, etc. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be as added advantage.

· Good knowledge of Ad Servers like AdColony, HITAPPS, Adlane, Clickadu, Adzerk, etc.
• Expertise in content development for digital knowledge products/marketing collateral, etc.
• Proficiency in at least MS-Office and ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available and necessary for the job.
• Proficiency in (Reading, Writing and Speaking) English and Hindi language. Working knowledge of any other Indian vernacular language will be favourable for the candidate.

Skills and Core Competencies

A. Essential

· Ability to identify target audiences and devising effective digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.

· Ability to handle of various social media platforms, network, and a thorough understanding of their modus operandi for promotional purposes.

· Outstanding data analytical skills to draw out insights from data feeds, trends to optimise the campaign results.

· Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement; Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics

· Ability to excel in a fluid, cross-functional and collaborative team environment.

B. Desirable

· Established media relations would be an added advantage.

· Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.

· Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.

Reporting

· The Digital Marketing Manager shall report to the Head – Marketing & PR, Ayekart.
