We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager in our Marketing team, accountable for supporting the delivery of iQ Student Accommodation's revenue targets, through the planning and delivery of digital marketing activities, continually reporting, analysing and optimising channel performance.

Key Role Responsibilities:
• Develop annual digital marketing plans, flexing these on a quarterly basis depending on leasing requirements, in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maximise all new and existing online revenue generation opportunities through viable multi-channel digital activity within budget, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
• Support the development of, and own the delivery of, the digital marketing strategy for all paid search, paid social, SEO, email and SMS marketing, in domestic and international markets.
• Work closely with the Social and Content team to place content that maximises performance across all of iQ's digital marketing channels.
• Plan, oversee and execute digital campaign activity to optimize the performance of iQ's digital channels across key campaign moments in the year, including launch to market, clearing, summer, and best welcome (resident check in).
• Identify new digital marketing channels appropriate for our target audience, and deliver activity on these to support leasing, demonstrating ROI through key performance metrics.
• Maximise the use of iQ's current email marketing platform, identifying opportunities to improve performance of the platform, and educate the wider Marketing team about the opportunities this can deliver for prospect, new booker and resident engagement, and lead capture.
• Design and implement iQ's email and SMS automation programme across key audience segments, working closely with iQ's email delivery partner.
• Design and manage effective email marketing campaigns across all audience segments, to drive prospect, new booker and resident engagement, and lead capture, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met in line with business objectives.
• Manage external suppliers to ensure the delivery of a quality and cost-effective service.
• Gather robust marketing intelligence through the evaluation of analytics, market intel and competitor data, to inform marketing activity and campaign design.
• Keep up to date with digital marketing best practice, putting it to action across all channels, adopting a test-learn-rollout approach.

Experience and Skills:
• Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, theory and best practice.
• Hands-on experience of the digital marketing mix, and experience managing web development projects to optimise customer journeys and experience.
• Strategic mind with the ability to devise digital marketing campaigns, implement and report on digital marketing plans.
• Web literacy and proficiency in data extraction and the use of databases and reporting tools, e.g. Google Analytics, Power BI.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience of digital marketing and web tools and platforms.
• Good proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience of leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities, working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Strong influencer of peers and colleagues; persuasive communicator building consensus and buy-in at a senior level.
• Experience managing third party partners and suppliers.
• Strong commercial acumen; excellent grasp of data-driven marketing and demonstrating ROI.
