As a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving digital growth for our B2B SaaS company in the UK market.
Role Summary:
Your role encompasses optimising and managing our website on the HubSpot platform, increasing on-page conversion rates for inbound MQLs, implementing SEO strategies, and supporting the design and execution of paid media campaigns, with a focus on PPC (Google Ads, Bing) and LinkedIn Ads.
Reporting to our Head of Marketing, your Key Responsibilities and Key Performance Metrics include:
On-page and Technical Search Engine Optimisation (Technical SEO):
• Identify keyword trends, monitor SERP rankings, and benchmark against competitors to identify new opportunities in our different market sectors.
• Optimise website content, meta tags, and structure for better organic visibility and to accommodate various devices.
• Track SEO performance and adjust strategies to improve rankings, engagement, and traffic.
• Monitor and improve all other website performance metrics including core web vitals, page experience, engagement, domain authority, retention and more.
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO):
• Analyse website user behaviour to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Plan and execute A/B tests and CRO experiments to boost website performance.
• Develop, test and refine whole website pages as well as website elements including CTAs, forms, and landing pages on the HubSpot CMS platform for an enhanced user experience.
• Improve overall website performance, speed, and responsiveness metrics (including SEMrush and HubSpot metrics, rankings, visibility, competitor bench-marking and more) to maximise conversion rates and lead generation.
• Ensure consistent representation of brand identity and messaging across all website elements.
Further contribution areas:
• Enhance Paid Media Campaign performance (PPC) and ROI by providing insights and guidance to the broader commercial marketing team.
• Support the HoM development and execution of the digital marketing strategy by promoting informed actions based on market analysis (industry trends, competitors, new opportunities) and performance analysis of various digital channels.
• Collaborate with the internal content team on Off-page SEO strategies to enhance our online presence and drive organic traffic (priority keyword lists and more).
Skills and Expertise:
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
• Proven success in driving growth on relevant key metrics and SEO best practices (keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO)
• Commercial expertise with CRO techniques/tools (A/B testing, SEMrush, GTM, GSC, GA4, user behaviour analysis)
• Strong experience in website optimization and management (preferably HubSpot CMS)
• Analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
Tools and technical proficiency
• Expertise with SEMrush, Hotjar, Mouseflow or similar as well as GA4, GTM, GSC, and HubSpot.
• Skilled in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Proficiency in optimising PPC campaigns on Google Ads, Bing Ads, and LinkedIn Ads platforms.
