POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Digital Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for researching and promoting Rapid Micro Biosystem’s products and services online via blogs, social media and website content. Responsible for daily management of the Rapid Micro Biosystem’s website, integrating our digital activities seamlessly within extended marketing campaign tactical execution in an omnichannel, customer-centric approach for a unified and consistent customer experience. Monitoring online consumer behavior and working with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns to increase site traffic and sales. Research market trends and create/optimize product campaigns. A creative team player with a passion for digital marketing who is a pivotal part of our marketing team.
Digital Marketing Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
• Research advertising trends
• Decide on appropriate placement of ads
• Determine what content will reach customers
• Develop projects to create content
• Publish digital marketing content online
• Implement email marketing campaigns
• Implement social media paid campaigns
• Measure digital traffic
• Monitor social media and Google Analytics
• Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
• Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders
• Scale campaigns to maximize ROI
• Monitor project status and budget
• Conduct market research to inform campaigns
• Brainstorm and implement experiments and conversion tests
• Engage in non-digital marketing activities such as supporting tradeshows and conferences
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: B.S. in Marketing or related field plus relevant working experience (i.e., B.S. with 3+ years)
• Preference is with experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent life science discipline.
• Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role
• Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns
• Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like HubSpot
• Expertise in Salesforce, Pardot and Excel
• Expertise in SEO and Google Analytics
• Experience with marketing campaigns on social media
• Strong communication, writing and presentation skills
• Demonstrated decision making capabilities, and success as agent of change.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and lead.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial / problem-solving ethic – resourceful, solutions-oriented, and inclined to attack problems with a can-do attitude.
• Good organizational skills – proficient at structuring and driving projects from start to finish, from scoping to execution; capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills – ability to work in a cross-functional, non-hierarchical position and interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
