About the Role:
Digital Marketing Team Leader is responsible for BA’s Digital Marketing team, services and products. They are responsible for creating all Digital Marketing strategies for our ecommerce (Shopify) and lead generation (WordPress) clients and setting campaign budgets. They will work closely with the Head of Project Management, Digital Strategist and Project Managers to ensure that the Digital Marketing projects are run successfully.
The dual responsibilities of this role are to be a high quality digital marketer and to help the digital marketing team members excel at their roles. This will enable the DM team to deliver work that is of the highest quality, following best practices, that is profitable and delivers on client and BA goals.
This role will suit someone who is ready to take their 3+ years of hands-on marketing experience and add some leadership responsibilities to their role.
What you'll be doing:
Digital Marketing, Strategy & Client Management - hands on (70%)
In addition to working closely with the BA Directors and our clients to produce and deliver clever and valuable marketing strategies, you’ll be hands on the tools delivering the DM products and services we offer:
SEO - technical and content.
Google Ads - search, display, shopping, PMax.
Meta Ads - Facebook (all types), Instagram (all types).
Meta Organic - Facebook, Instagram.
TikTok Ads.
TikTok Organic.
LinkedIn Ads.
LinkedIn Organic.
Email Marketing - Campaign Monitor and Klaviyo.
CRO.
Team Lead (30%)
The other part of the role involves leading our DM team. This will include:
Mentoring the team of digital marketers (currently 2 full time) to ensure high quality and good value marketing for BA and our clients.
Training the team to keep skills leading edge.
Assist with all people management of the team e.g. annual appraisals, career development, goal setting.
Provide a stimulating, encouraging, supportive, cooperative and safe team environment.
What we’re looking for:
Strategy skills:
As we offer a wide range of digital marketing and SEO services, we are looking for someone who can bring their generalist skills to develop marketing strategies that can encompass any or all of these, depending on client goals.
Digital Marketing skills:
Strong skills in at least one of the areas listed above, ideally demonstrated at a senior level for at least one year.
Team Leader skills:
To make a great team leader, we are looking for:
Great emotional intelligence.
Empathy & Integrity in spades.
A direct and clear communicator.
Great organisation.
Experience in training junior staff.
Desire to mentor a team.
