Job Description
The Marketing Media Specialist is a proactive planner who has a passion creating order, working with creatives, meeting deadlines, and building digital content that connects audiences with a brand’s story across all digital platforms.
This role will oversee our content creation across multiple platforms. This role manages the editorial calendar, coordinates a team of writers, and ensures all digital content aligns with brand and business goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, keeps a pulse on digital trends, and can translate marketing objectives into engaging content across websites and social channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and maintains a comprehensive content calendar as the key content driver across all digital channels including blogs, microsites, websites and social platforms.
Assigns topics, edit submissions, and provides feedback to a team of internal and freelance writers.
Manages all aspects of SEO for digital content and strategies, including a back linking program, tracking performance and make proactive recommendations for improvement.
Oversees publishing workflows, ensuring timely delivery and brand consistency in all content.
Posts content on using company CMS, and manages all social channels.
Track and report on content performance metrics to guide future decisions.
Assist with optimizing posts for search visibility and shareability.
Maintain consistent tone, voice, and quality across all digital channels.
SKILLS NEEDED
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
2–4 years of content coordination or digital marketing experience.
Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
Experience managing multiple projects and collaborators simultaneously.
Working knowledge of SEO best practices and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Strapi).
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Basic understanding of digital design or video publishing is a plus.
