About your new role
As a Digital Officer you’ll play a key role in shaping the city’s online presence by creating, publishing and maintaining communication materials in multiple formats online. You will undertake a range of duties relating to online content and, in liaison with business areas, develop new content as required, edit existing content, and refresh content that is no longer relevant or out of date.
Working closely with the Digital Design Lead within our Web and Digital Marketing team you’ll help to create customer-centric content, ensuring that it meets our design parameters and standards and is easy to read and use by customers.

What you'll need to succeed
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with proven experience in creating and publishing online communication material. You’ll have excellent proofreading skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of web content best practices. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring expertise in website design, including a solid grasp of accessibility requirements. Hands on experience using CMS, HTML, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite is essential. You’ll also be a strong collaborator with a customer-first mindset, able to work independently and as part of a team. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with a wide range of stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
