Job Responsibilities:
This job involves identification of new customer value propositions that can then be converted into product offerings to support growth of Merchant banking business of the Bank. To plan, develop, market and set up distribution of the new / existing SME product for clients of the bank in SME Segment and to monitor and measure the performance of the products after the launch
o Create merchant app product plans and road-maps to grow the merchant business by identifying analyzing and recommending newer markets, products and business streams for merchants.
o Design, optimise and develop the merchant onboarding and engagement journeys end to end, across the bank using the latest technology levers available
o Understands the digital channels offered to SME segments – namely Corporate internet banking, transaction banking platforms etc
o Work with Head of Products & Segmentation to identify, target Industry segments, sollect and analyze feedback from sales team, lateral teams and other stakeholders to shape requirements, features and end products for merchants
o To develop the marketing strategy, collateral and branding for products. Conceiving and driving contests for sales incentives, cross sell and products
o To plan in the development, marketing and distribution of the product, to monitor and measure the performance of the products after it is launched. Assume complete ownership of the sales channel management involving lead tracking, follow through and payouts
o Produce and review product requirements documents
o Support in growth and driving the innovation agenda of digital SME product team
Desired skill set :
o Experience as a Product Manager in Bank/NBFC in SME segment - must have previous experience in end-to-end project management.
o Candidates must have banking / payments / SME lending background.
o Should be abreast with the latest digital tools
o Experience in product life-cycle management
o Organizational and leadership abilities
o Excellent communication skills
o Should be able to be run independently with directional oversight and management support
Essential requirement:
3-5 years of post MBA experience in Product management including hands-on experience of product/portfolio as part of a digital team for Banks / Neo-banks / Fintechs
