Digital Production Internship

High Impact Promotion (formerly Salamea.Marketing LLC) is a Chicago-based media and marketing agency specializing in high-impact video production, drone services, event coverage, and content creation for brands, conferences, hotels, and creative partners globally.
We operate with a hybrid creative model, supported by editors, interns, videographers, hosts, and production assistants across multiple time zones—using advanced tools such as DJI drones, Insta360 cameras, Meta Glasses, and our internal multi-device content pipeline.
Our work includes short-form reels, event recaps, interviews, branded storytelling, VR/360 content, livestreams, and digital marketing assets for clients across hospitality, entertainment, fashion, gaming cafés, nightlife, and nonprofit education.
Internship Overview
This is an unpaid, educational internship designed for individuals seeking real-world experience inside a working media production environment.
• 3-month minimum commitment
• 4–6 hours per week
• Hybrid structure (on-site + remote)
• Portfolio-focused and workflow-driven

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking organized, motivated interns who:
• Want hands-on experience in digital production and media workflows
• Are reliable, coachable, and open to feedback
• Are interested in media production, content creation, or digital marketing
• Want to learn by contributing, not just observing
Key Responsibilities (Digital Production Intern)
Interns support our content pipeline from capture → organization → prep for publishing. Responsibilities may include:
Media Intake & Device Support
• Import footage from cameras and devices to a central hard drive
• Help ensure devices are charged, backed up, and ready for production
You may work with:
• Insta360 (360 video + livestream)
• DJI Mic (interviews + event recaps)
• DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (slow motion + event recaps)
• DJI Mini 4 Pro & DJI Neo (aerial video, photos, livestreams)
• Insta GO (POV + specialty angles)
• Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (POV + recap)
• Portable editing laptops and lighting setups
File Organization & Asset Management
• Organize footage by event, device, and date
• Upload and maintain assets in Google Drive following internal structure
Content Prep & Social Support
• Assist with thumbnails and visual asset selection
• Support posting across platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook
• Draft or refine captions based on brand tone and guidance
