Digital Sales- Subject Matter Expert (Content Development)
Position Summary:
• Role: Subject Matter Expert (Content Development)
• Location: Remote (Online)
• Employment Type: Project Contractor / Consultant
• Duration: 2 months (Part-time) - Potential longer-term engagement based on candidate performance
• Start Date: Immediately
• Compensation: Approximately INR 8–+ lakhs for developing content for an 18-week course. The final amount will be prorated based on the number of content modules assigned and completed by the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Role Description:
LINC Education is seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts for a Digital Sales course. This is an exciting freelance or part-time opportunity to work with internationally renowned universities. The candidate will be responsible for writing week-wise content, designing/reviewing subject maps, and supporting the course developers as the Subject Matter Expert.
The responsibilities include developing the following:
• Instructor Materials
• Detailed lesson plans for each day
• Live coding scripts/notebooks with solutions
• And/or Lecture slides or presentation materials
• Exercise solution guides
• Assessment materials (quizzes, project evaluation guidelines)
• Student Materials
• Pre-read content for the flipped classroom approach
• Written lessons in Markdown format for each topic (comprehensive text-based content)
• Short instructional videos (5 minutes) explaining key concepts
• Lab guides and exercise instructions
• Project requirements and specifications
• Reference documentation
• Self-assessment materials
Who are we looking for?
Education / Work Experience
• A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as Business (MBA in Sales/Marketing), Marketing, or other cognate discipline from reputable universities
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience working in managerial/leadership roles at leading global organisations
• Candidates should have demonstrated experience in the following -
• Customer Segmentation / Acquisition, Customer Value Analysis, and Sales Strategy
• Leading sales teams in digital environments
• Content marketing and strategy
• Digital Transformation in Sales, Sales Automation, Virtual Sales Techniques
• Candidate must have experience with the following software/tools -
• SEO and SEM (Google Ads, Bing Ads)
• Social media marketing (paid and organic)
• CRM tools like Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.
• Using Big Data / Analytics in Sales Controlling (Google Analytics, GA4, etc.)
• Relevant content writing experience at the higher education level would be preferred
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of online learning resources and ability to research authentic academic resources
