Job Description: Digital Transportation Coordinator
Location: Bolingbrook, IL (Remote)
Duration: 3+ Months
Pay Rate: $30/hour (W2)
Position Overview
The Digital Transportation Coordinator is responsible for managing parcel shipment proof of deliveries (PODs), address reroute submissions, and supporting escalated guest inquiries. This role requires strong communication, vendor coordination, and data tracking skills to ensure timely and accurate transportation resolutions.
Responsibilities
Collect parcel Proof of Deliveries (PODs) from carrier systems and submit them through internal platforms
Submit guest-requested address reroutes to carrier systems
Track escalated POD submissions and reroute requests in internal databases
Assist Guest Services with escalated parcel-related issues
Manage shipment exceptions, prioritization, and expedited shipment needs
Track shipments and manage daily exception lists when required
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and carrier partners
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely issue resolution
Adapt to learning and navigating new software systems as needed
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in Logistics, Distribution, or Supply Chain environment (preferred)
Working knowledge of SAP and TMS (preferred)
Experience managing vendors/carriers (preferred)
Experience in process improvement and best practices (preferred)
Ability to collect and submit PODs and address reroutes (required)
Strong analytical skills (required)
Ability to track escalated requests and manage updates through internal systems
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Comfortable learning new software and adapting quickly to system workflows
