Job Summary:
At The Elite Job, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. As a key player in our accounting department, you will manage and oversee the receivables process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our organization, as you will be responsible for tracking outstanding invoices, managing client communications, and resolving discrepancies. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Generate and send out invoices to clients, following up on overdue payments and resolving any billing issues.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions, including applying payments and credit adjustments as necessary.
• Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to address any customer disputes or queries related to billing.
• Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify and address any potential collection issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all receivables transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to receivables, including month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Continuously improve accounts receivable processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting position.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Working Hours:
• Full-time position, Monday through Friday, +:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or month-end close.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• In-depth knowledge of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
• Strong numerical and data entry skills with the ability to handle large volumes of transactions.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and related tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
