Full job description

$33.68 - $37.35 per hour (Depending on level of experience)+ super + salary packaging benefits

Working 5 days per week 8am - 4pm

Experience being a responsible person (preferred)

About the Opportunity

Uniting Preschool Turratots – Turramurra is a warm and welcoming, not-for-profit preschool nestled in the heart of the local community. We proudly provide quality early education and care to children aged 3–5 years, with a strong focus on inclusivity, equity, and belonging.

With approval for up to 36 children, our service offers thoughtfully designed indoor learning spaces and a beautiful natural outdoor environment that inspires exploration and creativity.

As a Room Leader, you'll bring your passion for early learning, deep understanding of the National Quality Standards and regulations and a commitment to child safety. You’ll lead by example, creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where every child thrives.

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!

Your care work may include:

Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework.

Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.

Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.

Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes

Who we’re looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.

A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.

Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF

Valid First Aid (HLTAID0012) and Child Protection certification

Full Working Rights to work on a permanent full time basis
