Job Summary
Join Chartwells as the Senior Catering Director for a flagship university account servicing the Northwestern University downtown community including the prestigious Prtizker School of Law and Feinberg School of Medicine programs.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily Catering Operations
Manage multiple events daily with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Supervise and development staff
Execute Culinary Programs
Provide outstanding customer service
Conduct Financial Management and Analysis
Direct Special Events, Marketing and Sales of events, and lead on site field support for events
Preferred Qualifications
A.S. or equivalent experience
General Hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices
At least two years experience in food service operations leadership with an emphasis in catering
Ability to interact with diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner
Ability to operate web based ordering system, process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and client profiles
Proficient with word processing and spread sheet applications
Ability to write professional and efficient emails to clients and customers
Possess the ability to meet Company specific uniform standards for this position
Utilize all Personal Protective Equipment’s per Company guidelines
Ability to work at times with minimal supervision, and accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and problem solve for the best solutions
This position supervises numerous employees including delivery personnel and culinary personnel
